Wraysbury Dragons & Waka Ama recently competed in the EDBF European Club Crew Championships which were held in Ravenna, Italy. Under bright blue skies, we raced in all age categories, and with more than 3,000 competitors in attendance, the racing was extremely tough against numerous clubs from Europe. It was great to see our friends from clubs in Ukraine also there. Our Premier crew made a major final, the first time a crew from the UK has done this and it was an outstanding performance. Our medal tally amounted to two silvers and two bronzes – a fantastic achievement. After the racing, a great party was laid on by our hotel to celebrate our great time in Ravenna.
